The voice cast and singing voices of KPop Demon Hunters appeared on Hot Ones Versus on February 24, 2026, where they competed in a spicy wing challenge while answering trivia about the Netflix film. The six ladies, the three voice actors of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, faced off against the three vocalists who performed the singing parts for the same characters. The competition tested their memory of the movie while increasing the spice level with each round.
During one challenge, singer Rei Ami attempted to summarize the entire plot in 30 seconds but struggled to finish in time.
“Our job is to steal the Honmoon, which is like a shield that’s powered through music; however, [Rumi] starts falling in love with a demon, like stupid,” she said before the time was up. As a result, her team had to eat an extremely spicy wing.
Other segments included filling in song lyrics and answering questions about character details. Actress Arden Cho, who voiced Rumi, and her teammates also faced several spicy penalties during the game.
This Hot Ones appearance comes as the film and soundtrack continue to receive major recognition. KPop Demon Hunters earned two Oscar nominations ahead of the March 15, 2026, ceremony, including best animated film and best original song for Golden. The soundtrack has already seen strong chart success, especially “Golden,” which became one of 2025’s biggest hits and extended its success into this year.
