Kit Harington reflects on Game of Thrones’ finale and reveals that mistakes were made

Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington, the face behind Jon Snow, has opened up about the controversial finale of the series! In a revealing chat with GQ, the actor said that “mistakes were made” in the series’ final season, but he quickly pointed out that exhaustion played a significant role.

“I think if there was any fault with the end of Thrones, is that we were all so f*cking tired, we couldn’t have gone on longer.”

Despite the show’s long run and legacy, fans have criticized the final episodes for feeling rushed and for the narrative choices. However, Harington noted that, while some decisions didn’t quite land, the team was completely tired. He even said that he looked”exhausted” in some of the footage for the season finale of the series.

“But I’m not sure there was any alternative. I look at pictures of me in that final season and I look exhausted. I look spent. I didn’t have another season in me.”

With flaws and all, the Game of Thrones star even signed up for a spin-off centered around Jon Snow. In the end, the story was not there and the project was shelved. He confessed he actually backed out of the project because it was not worth pushing it any further.
