King Charles lll’s royal orchestra played a BLACKPINK song

Okay, BLACKPINK stans, it’s clear that our girls made a major move after attending King Charles’ banquet on Tuesday evening. Even though the event was made to welcome the President of South Korea and the First Lady, it looks like BLACKPINK literally stole the show.

Need proof? Well, His Majesty sent a huge shout-out to the “Kill This Love” idols for their work as environmental advocates as he was giving his speech. As if that wasn’t enough, the king also met the girls in person and had a chat with them.

Now, it looks like that BLACKPINK fever has invaded the British royal family because they can’t stop loving them!  Recently, they took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to post a clip, showing just how much they stan the girls. In the video, you’ll hear the royal orchestra playing a cover of “DDU-DU DDU-DU.”

The video was captioned with “On Wednesdays, we play @BLACKPINK,” making a clever reference to Mean Girls and mentioning our Kpop queens at the same time. That’s the British and Kpop royalty crossover we needed!
