A few weeks before the coronation, King Charles III decided to put space between himself and his own son, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle.
The upcoming crowning of King Charles III and Queen consort Camilla Parker will be one of history’s most significant events because it will occur after Queen Elizabeth II has held the throne for roughly 70 years.
The 74-year-old monarch has made the decision to keep his distance from his own son for this particular reason, as he wants to minimize any potential conflicts during the long-awaited coronation. The author of “Traitor King: the scandalous exile of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor,” Andrew Lownie, agrees.
“There have been low points in the royal story before and it has survived: the abdication, the ‘annus horribilis’ of 1992, the Panorama interview (with Princess Diana), but here are important members of the royal family trying to destroy or reform the institution itself” added the author.


Needs to take away both their Royal titles. Then they will be just Mr. & Mrs. John Doe and no one will care about the two back stabbers.
