KATSEYE is currently the talk of the town after the rising Kpop group cancelled their performance at Summer Sonic Osaka on August 16 due to two members weren’t feeling well. However, the girls’ music agency stated that the girls will perform at the Summer Sonic Tokyo the following day.
On August 17 KST, KATSEYE’s music agency released another short statement to address Manon’s health status. Although they didn’t further reveal what happened with the idol, they state she wouldn’t be able to perform during the event.
Fans had mixed reactions to the latest statement as they believe they deserve a full explanation of what’s happening with KATSEYE. While others have gently asked to respect the girls’ privacy for a while until they feel ready to spill the tea. Read the full statement below:

We are very sorry to share that Manon will not be able to perform at Summer Sonic Tokyo on Sunday, August 17, as her condition has declined upon landing in Tokyo. She has since made the decision after consulting her doctor to rest in order to recover as soon as possible. We know many EYEKONS were looking forward to seeing all KATSEYE members on stage at Summer Sonic Tokyo and we sincerely apologize for the unforeseen change.
Your health and safety, as well as that of KATSEYE members, is always our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding. We wish Manon a speedy recovery.
