Kate Middleton talks about how cancer affects her not only physically but also menta

Through a recent post on social networks, Kate Middleton opens up about the difficulties of facing a cancer diagnosis and how this condition can affect many aspects of your life.

On June 28th, the Princess of Wales used her social networks to reveal her own challenges and that she completed Britain’s National Three Peaks Challenge to overcome this illness by taking care of her physical and mental health.

The future queen speaks from her own experience that after receiving this diagnosis, “What follows is a path that tests every part of who we are: physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. The challenges ripple outwards, touching families, friendships, work and the quiet moments we spend alone with our thoughts.”

“Cancer doesn’t just affect the body. It changes how you think and feel and profoundly affects every aspect of life. I know this personally and that the journey through and beyond treatment requires more than medicine alone.”

Kate Middleton continues revealing she deals with the difficulties of this diagnosis, taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge with the intention of “exploring life beyond diagnosis and to give something back.”

She concluded that this meaningful challenge was her way to understand that healing “is not just about fixing what is wrong. It is about finding balance in how we live,” and ensuring all patients they are not alone in this: “Please know you are not alone.”
