Two BLACKPINK members have just added a new title to their resumes: national ambassadors! In August 2025, it was announced that Jennie was the new face of Seoul Tourism, while Lisa was appointed as the ambassador for Thailand’s Amazing Thailand campaign this October 15, 2025. Both projects celebrate the singers’ roots while showcasing their countries’ beauty to the world.
Jennie’s campaign, Absolutely in SEOUL, includes two cinematic videos titled DALTOKKI and SEOUL CITY. The first clip, released on August 8, takes viewers through Seoul’s dreamy spots. Meanwhile, the second video, which dropped on August 15, features her song Seoul City from her debut album Ruby. Jennie describes Seoul as her “city of inspiration,” saying that its rhythm and charm reflect her own style.
Meanwhile, Lisa is set to spotlight Thailand’s vibrant culture through the Amazing Thailand x LISA campaign. Announced by the Tourism Authority of Thailand on October 15, the project aims to attract 5–10 million more tourists next year by sharing the nation’s spirit, heritage, and hospitality. Besides international promotion, Lisa’s involvement will also highlight the domestic destination. The TAT’s Governor called the partnership “a monumental step,” uniting Thais and international fans alike in rediscovering the beauty of Thailand.
