BLACKPINK received a special welcome to Hong Kong after actor Jackie Chan sent them a thoughtful gift during their visit to the region. The quartet has been performing in Hong Kong from January 24 to 26 as part of their ongoing Deadline World Tour, drawing large crowds and strong fan reactions in the Chinese administrative region. To congratulate the girl group, the actor sent them flowers and a card with a message.
The gift was later shared on social media, with member Lisa taking to her Instagram Stories to post the present. The flowers included a sweet card with a message from Jackie Chan, who’s known globally for this martial arts and comedy films. His card read, “Welcome to Hong Kong. Good show. With love, Jackie Chan,” showing his admiration for the group. This marks the second time the actor welcomes BLACKPINK to Hong Kong, as he also sent them a present back in 2022 as they were preparing to perform during the Born Pink World Tour.
BLACKPINK began the Deadline World Tour in July 2025 after reuniting following a hiatus of about one year. During that break, each member focused on individual projects in acting, music, and fashion. The group also released their latest single, “Jump,” on July 11, 2025, marking their first new single since 2022’s “Born Pink.” Meanwhile, The Deadline World Tour will officially end on January 26, 2026, with the final show in Hong Kong. After the tour, BLACKPINK is scheduled to release their third mini album titled “Deadline” on February 27, 2026, continuing a busy and highly anticipated comeback period.
