IVE’s Gaeul joins the Reading Korea campaign as an ambassador

The IVE member will attend the launch event on April 23, 2026, at Starfield Library

IVE’s Gaeul has been selected as a partner for the 2026 Reading Korea campaign, according to her agency, Starship Entertainment. The campaign is a nationwide project led by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Its goal is to encourage people to make reading part of everyday life by helping them discover the value of books and build lasting reading habits. Gaeul is now playing a visible role in promoting that message, especially among younger audiences who follow her as a celebrity and member of IVE.

The 23-year-old attended the campaign’s launch ceremony on April 23, 2026, at the Starfield Library in Coex. During the event, she shared her personal reading list and joined a mini-book talk as part of the opening program. In addition, this date also matched World Book Day, which is observed each year on April 23, making the event even more meaningful. This campaign connects the reading message to a popular K-pop artist with a visible interest in literary content.

As a campaign partner, she plans to promote reading in a way that feels more open and approachable. Gaeul said she feels happy and honored to join this promotional campaign as someone who is a book lover.
