The 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards aired on KBS2TV on July 18, 2025, and all eyes were on IU. She took home the Best Actress award for her outstanding job in “When Life Gives You Tangerines.” The show didn’t stop there. The K-Drama also claimed a prestigious Grand Prize, making it one of the biggest winners of the night.

IU gave a heartfelt speech, calling the show the greatest pride of her life. She thanked writer Lim Sang Choon, director Kim Won Seok, and every single person listed in the ending credits. She also thrilled fans by recreating one of her most iconic lines from the show.

“This will likely remain the proudest work of my life. It made me feel more alive and expressive than ever.”

While IU owned the night, The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call also made waves with three wins, including Best Actor for Ju Jihoon and Best New Actor for Choo Young Woo. Lee Byung Hun may not have picked up an award, but he certainly captured hearts after dancing along to Yim Siwan’s surprise opening performance.
