BLACKPINK’s Jennie is stepping into the spotlight as she gears up for her first solo album under her self-established label, ODD ATELIER. In a revealing Billboard interview, she spilled the tea on her personal growth, global stardom, and the possibility of signing new artists. Spoiler alert: she’s got zero time for that right now, as her album demands all her creative force.

Established on December 24, 2023, ODD ATELIER—also known as OA—marks a massive milestone in Jennie’s career. She parted ways with YG on the solo front in 2023, even though BLACKPINK remains under the agency for group activities. Since then, she’s been busy building her brand, dropping the single “Mantra” in October 2024. The track is an appetizer to her upcoming debut solo album, which should be released at some point in 2025. Still, don’t expect her to scout newbies just yet:

“I’ve been getting this question left and right, and my answer is, ‘Please, I am so busy on this album. Let’s not even get my brain on that path just yet,” she revealed

True to form, she’s saving her full focus for this project, which fans predict will be one of the biggest K-pop releases of 2025!
