But HYBE’s management said that his enlistment timing crushed those dreams, leading ARMY to vent their frustrations online. Cultural critic Kim Heon Sik didn’t mince words, calling out HYBE for missing the chance to spotlight Jungkook’s talent. Some others even said that the “Seven” singer could’ve delayed his enlistment, considering he was still under 30 years old and had made a significant contribution to South Korean arts and culture.
Despite this setback, Jungkook continues to shine globally, recently premiering his movie “I AM STILL” in global theaters. Fans are expecting the idol to return from his military enlistment at some point during June 2025, at the same time as his bandmate Jimin.
