SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi and Woozi were joined by six fellow members at their Seoul fan concert on July 13, and things got spicy when Hoshi spilled the tea. While interacting with fans, Hoshi casually mentioned plans for a SEVENTEEN concert and a future subunit that had not been publicly revealed. Woozi’s surprised face said it all, and fans quickly caught on that this was an accidental spoiler in real time.
“We’ll also be watching the members’ concert before going right?” he asked.
Trying to cover it up, Woozi called it a “prediction” while Hoshi awkwardly laughed and told the audience to forget what they heard. The chaos continued when Hoshi pointed out S.Coups and Mingyu’s fresh hair colors and confirmed their upcoming subunit. Mingyu had spoken earlier that day about reports saying their unit was in the works, admitting it was true but still meant to be a secret.
This concert marked one of the final group appearances before Hoshi and Woozi began their military service in September. Woozi will enlist on the 15th, with Hoshi following the next day. They will be the first from SEVENTEEN to take on active duty. Jeonghan and Wonwoo are serving through social work, while leader S.Coups was exempted due to a leg injury. But even with enlistments around the corner, the boys are still giving fans plenty to look forward to during their time away!
