Prime Video has released the full trailer for the fifth and final season of The Boys, giving viewers and fans a first look at the series’s last major battle. The teaser shows the story picking up right after the events of the Season 4 finale, with Homelander now having more power than ever. The character appears moving toward total control in the Oval Office, chasing immortality. He also wakes Soldier Boy, played by Jensen Ackles, from cryo sleep to create a plan that could give him even more power.
At the same time, the Boys are in a desperate situation. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are being held in a Vought-run camp, while Annie, also known as Starlight, and A Train try to build resistance from the outside. One of the biggest villains in the trailer is Billy Butcher, who now has disturbing powers and a virus capable of killing Supes. His plan looks more extreme than ever, and he seems ready to give it all for his fight. This conflict marks a big threat to Homelander and everyone around them.
The trailer also hints at crossover moments with characters from Gen V and sparks even more excitement with the casting of Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins. Prime Video has confirmed that Season 5 will begin with the release of two episodes on April 8, 2026. The story will then continue until the series finale on May 20, 2026.
