Former NewJeans member Danielle opens her own YouTube channel

The artist shares a message with fans as she begins a content creator era

Danielle, formerly known as a member of NewJeans, opened her own YouTube channel and uploaded her first video on September 5, 2026. The channel, named Dazzibelle, introduced fans to Danielle through a video called “Detour.” The artist greeted viewers while sitting near a lake in her native Australia. She admitted that it felt “slightly awkward” as she spoke directly to the camera.

During the video, Danielle opened up about returning home and spending time with her family. She said she had deeply missed Australia, including its nature, ocean, and the people close to her. The artist also explained that she chose to spend time with her family as the first step in reconnecting with herself. After taking time to rest and recharge, she said she now feels ready to start a new adventure and begin a personal journey of her own.

“I’ve really, really missed my home. The nature, the ocean, and of course my family. So the first thing I chose to do was to spend time with the family back home.”

Danielle’s new channel comes after changes to her career. Her contract with HYBE’s ADOR as a NewJeans member was terminated in December 2025, and she is currently involved in a 33 billion won, approximately $24 million, lawsuit with the agency. Despite the ongoing legal battle, her first YouTube upload hints at the fact that she might be exploring new opportunities. Meanwhile, NewJeans will move forward as a quartet and recently celebrated their fourth anniversary with pictures and short videos. However, there is no official comeback date for the 4-member girl group.
