HBO’s buzzy hit series, “Euphoria,” is back with the long-awaited season three. The forthcoming new season skips ahead five years from where season two left off when the show returns on April 12. Are you ready to reignite the character’s drama once again?
Creator Sam Levinson had recently revealed that the group of former high school friends is now a group of young adults with the time jump. Everyone had a developed storyline as Rue is south of the border in Mexico and in debt to the rug dealer, Laurie. While Cassie and Nate are now engaged, living in the suburbs. On the other hand, Maddie is working at a Hollywood talent agency, and Lexi became the assistant to a showrunner played by new cast member Sharon Stone.
The new trailer expands on those updates. The 2-minute trailer made shocking revelations for all the fans. Levinson has said that “being out of the safety net of school” is what the new season is about.
The one thing we all agreed on is we can’t go back to high school — although many, many shows have had 30-year-old high school students, we’re not. Five years felt like a natural place [to jump] because if they had gone to college, they’d be out of college at that time.”
