There are too many celebrities who would do anything to be able to be in a marvel movie, because if it is successful, their artistic life could take off in an undeniable way, but despite the great requests, there are people who prefer to reject millionaire roles. Emily Blunt reveals the million-dollar role she lost out on with Marvel.
Emily Blunt has always been a beloved celebrity within the Hollywood industry, especially now with her participation in Oppenheimer’s movie, but now it has been revealed that she could have also been part of the superhero world, exactly with Marvel.
In her recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the 50-year-old actress revealed that unfortunately she had to pass up the opportunity to work with Marvel portraying the role of the super spy Black Widow, this because Emily Blunt was already working on the Gulliver’s Travels project in 2010, however, Blunt expressed that the best actress got the role, referring to Scarlett Johansson.
In the chat Emily confessed that although her work with Fox at the time was a box office success, she regrets not being able to take the role of Black Widow, since after she was obsessed with Iron Man and working with Robert Downey Jr, “I’m proud of the choices I make, but I’m a little disappointed that I passed on that role in the UCM, if I hadn’t been able to play the superheroine from her appearance in Iron Man 2 to Avengers: Endgame, leaving a very long legacy like Scarlett did,” added Emily Blunt.
