Donald Trump slams Harry and Meghan’s UK return: ‘I wouldn’t have taken them back’

Donald Trump shares his candid reaction to Harry and Meghan's departure from the United States

In a recent appearance, Donald Trump slams Harry and Meghan‘s UK return, expressing his opinion about the family rift and about this reunion: ‘I wouldn’t have taken them back.’

On September 2nd, the president of the United States held a press conference, where he was asked about his reaction to the news that the Duke and Duchesses of Sussex have left the US and gone back to Britain.

Donald Trump started confessing he is “happy about it” because he is not a fan of the couple. He continues revealing he had a good relationship with the late Queen Elizabeth II and currently has strong bonds with King Charles III and defends their posture in the family breakup.

“He’s a great, great guy, and I thought [Harry and Meghan] treated the royal family with great disrespect.”

“I thought she was terribly disrespectful to the queen, to King Charles,” he said, referring to Meghan Markle.

The president concluded by saying he wouldn’t have received Harry and Meghan back in the UK after all that happened previously in 2020: “Frankly, if I were the royal family, I would not have taken them back.”
