Diplo asks BTS fans to be supportive before the album

Music producer Diplo spoke directly to BTS fans on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, after his involvement in the group’s upcoming album ARIRANG was revealed. In a post shared on Instagram, the DJ and producer asked ARMY to be kind to him once the album is released. Along with the post, he shared a throwback photo featuring BTS members Jungkook and RM. He also showed screenshots of the newly released ARIRANG tracklist, showcasing his name in the production credits.

“ARMY please be nice … I made 5 of these,” he said, referencing the tracks.

The post quickly gained fan traction, as fans have been waiting for a full group comeback since 2020. In addition, Diplo shared a video from the 2020 Grammy Awards showing himself with BTS backstage alongside Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Mason Ramsey. The artists performed Old Town Road together during that ceremony on January 26, 2020.

The album ARIRANG features multiple producers and contributions from BTS members

The official tracklist for ARIRANG was revealed on March 3, 2026. According to the production credits, Diplo worked on five songs titled Body to Body, FYA, One More Night, Like Animals, and the closing song Into the Sun. The album contains fourteen songs in total and features several top-tier producers, including Kevin Parker from Tame Impala, Mike WiLL Made It, and Ryan Tedder.

The BTS member also contributed to the creative process for different tracks on the project, withRM, Jin, Suga, j hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook appearing in songwriting credits across the tracklist. The boy group has consistently participated in songwriting and production as part of their music over the years.

ARIRANG will mark BTS’s first full album in about 5 years

The upcoming album will be BTS’s first full-length project since the release of Be on November 20, 2020. The project spawned two number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100, “Dynamite” and “Life Goes On”. After that period, BTS released the compilation albums BTS, the Best and Proof. Following these releases,  the members focused on individual projects and also fulfilled their mandatory military service obligations in South Korea.
