CORTIS has once again topped a major ranking after their breakout song “REDRED” charted at #1 on TikTok’s Songs of the Summer 2026 list for South Korea. TikTok announced the ranking on September 2, 2026, based on the music and videos that gained popularity on the platform throughout the summer. CORTIS was also named Boyband of the Summer as part of the TikTok Summer Honours 2026.
The five members thanked their fans and listeners through their label, Big Hit Music. “REDRED” is the lead single from the group’s second EP, “GREENGREEN,” which was released on May, 4, 2026. The mini-album entered the Billboard 200 at #3, marking the group’s highest-charting release in the tally. CORTIS later released an expanded version of “Greengreen” with two additional tracks to celebrate the group’s first anniversary, titled “PACK IT UP” and “MONEYMONEYMONEY.”
The group is also continuing their promotional activities outside South Korea. CORTIS will begin the Japanese leg of the “Put Your Phone Down” tour with three concerts in Yokohama starting on September 4. With “REDRED” becoming one of the most popular songs of the summer in South Korea, Cortis continues to build momentum in their transition from rookie group to a well-known K-pop act.
