CORTIS member Keonho will continue promoting with his group despite suffering fractures in both of his pinky fingers after a recent fall. BigHit Music confirmed through a statement posted on Weverse on July 17, 2026, that the 17-year-old artist was treated at a hospital and will need to wear casts and braces during his recovery. Because of the fractures, the movement of both of his arms will be limited. However, the company said the situation will not affect his participation in the group’s upcoming tour. Instead, the South Korean star will adjust his performance style based on the advice of the medical team to protect his health.
The agency also shared specific plans for CORTIS’ upcoming concerts. During the 2026 CORTIS TOUR, Put Your Phone Down in Incheon on July 18, 2026, and July 19, 2026, Keonho will perform without taking part in the choreography in order to reduce unnecessary arm movement. His health condition will continue to be monitored before future live appearances, including the group’s performance at Chicago’s House of Blues on July 31, 2026, their Lollapalooza debut on August 1, 2026, and the North American leg of the world tour. BigHit Music said his participation in each event will be modified if necessary “to avoid placing undue strain on his injuries.”
Following the announcement, Keonho personally talked to fans through Weverse and apologized for worrying them. Even though the CORTIS member will not be able to fully participate in the choreography of the show, he still promised to give his best and thanked fans for their support. The Put Your Phone Down Tour marks the quintet’s first musical run following their 2025 debut. Meanwhile, read Keonho’s official statement to fans below:
“The [upcoming] tour ‘Put Your Phone Down’ is my first tour as a CORTIS, so I really wanted to show you the five of us. I really wanted to participate. I can’t participate in the choreography with my friends, but I’ll try to show you a great performance as much as I can. Thank you so much to the COER who always supports us in any situation.”
