CORTIS earns marvelous 8th win with “REDRED” on Music Core

CORTIS had a great reception in the South Korean markets with the release of their sophomore  EP, “GREENGREEN.” The album and its single are currently charting in the K-Charts, which is no surprise that “REDRED” is constantly competing on the South Korean music program circuits to take the win. 

On May 23, a new episode of Show! Music Core was broadcast with special performances from Park Hyun Kyu,  YUHZ, H//PE Princess, FLARE U, xikers, YOUNITE, Billie, BIBI, Jay Park, CORTIS, ZEROBASEONE, and LE SSERAFIM, among other amazing acts. 

On episode 947, the first-place nominees included ILLIT with “It’s Me,” NMIXX with “Heavy Serenade,” and CORTIS with “REDRED.” CORTIS ultimately took over the show with their 8th win with a total score of 7,055 points, surpassing NMIXX’s 6,961 points and ILLIT’s 6,026 points. CORTIS made a sweet acceptance speech:

“We didn’t expect to win first place. Thank you, and we love our COER. We also want to thank producer Si Hyuk for helping us so much and giving us incredible musical guidance. Thanks to that support, we were able to come this far. We will continue to work even harder as CORTIS.”
