As the official portrait photographer for the British royal family for more than 45 years, Arthur Edwards is regarded as one of the most enduring authorities in his field within the royal family. Among his notable accomplishments is being the first to capture a photo of Princess Diana.
He started out as a simple journalist for the newspaper “The Sun” in 1980 and has since attended and taken pictures of seven royal weddings, seven royal births, and five royal funerals. According to the media, he is one of the few people who has been closer to all members of royalty throughout several generations. He even attended Diana honeymoon when she married King Charles III.
