BTSV has become an emerging streaming force in the last couple of months after the release of his highly acclaimed “Layover” album. Since then, the idol has been in the spotlight of Hollywood productions, particularly in the amazing OST, which couldn’t be complete without a song from the idol.

“The Summer I Turned Pretty” is the perfect example that BTS’ V can fit into any hit series. The coming-of-age romantic drama explores themes of first love, family bonds, and the bittersweet ache of growing up. Here, BTS’ V’s “FRI(END)S” makes its iconic debut.

On July 16, the final season of Prime Video’s “The Summer I Turned Pretty” was released, and Taehyung’s solo track “FRI(END)S” was featured. The song was also included in Spotify’s official soundtrack from the series.

Fans, better known as ARMY, couldn’t be more excited after the song perfectly describes the desire to put an end to friends, to transform a close friendship into something deeper. Its poignant lyrics about the blurred line between friendship and romance perfectly underscore a scene with Belly’s brother Steven and her best friend Taylor in the first episode of season 3.
