BTS’ V just made Dodger Stadium his stage! On his solo debut at an MLB ceremonial first pitch, Taehyung showed up to the LA Dodgers vs Cincinnati Reds game with BTS’ “MIC Drop” blaring in the background. He walked to the mound, wound up, and delivered a clean strike straight into Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s glove, sending the crowd into a frenzy as the speakers switched to “Fire.”
The fashion choice didn’t go unnoticed either. V stepped out in a Dodgers jersey stamped with the number 7, a clear nod to BTS as a group. In addition, he greeted the crowd with “It’s time for Dodgers baseball” before throwing. To top things off, he shared an adorable hug with none other than Shohei Ohtani. And the pictures? They had Twitter and Instagram going crazy for hours, making it an instant fan-cam moment.
Even the commentators couldn’t resist hyping him up, praising his left-handed throw and joking that he should join the team. V now joins Jungkook and J-Hope as part of BTS’ “pitcher squad,” before heading right back to the studio to prep for the group’s post-military comeback. Recently, the group’s leader, RM, confirmed they’re working on new music in Los Angeles. Word on the street (and the Internet) says they might release a full album and go on tour in 2026.
