BTS are stepping back into global domination mode, and they are not keeping things so quiet. After finishing their military service, the members reunited and officially announced their first post-enlistment album and world tour on August, 2025, during a live broadcast on Weverse. The stream became their first full group appearance since September 2022 and pulled over 4 million real-time views.

Fans finally got the confirmation they waited years for: A new BTS album will arrive in the spring of 2026, with Bloomberg and The Korea Herald reporting a late March 2026 release period. The group shared that they had been working in the United States since July 2025 to begin creating the album. As HYBE explained, the members will be working with top-tier producers, including Max Martin and songwriter Jon Bellion, who confirmed the two have been crafting songs with the group.

The comeback is only the beginning, because BTS also confirmed a massive world tour planned for 2026. According to the information highlighted by Pop Core, the tour is reportedly scheduled to be announced in January 2026 and begin in late April after the new album drops in March. Bloomberg reported on October 26, 2025, that the group plans to announce 65-date tour with more than 30 shows in North America. However, HYBE clarified that the scale and dates are not finalized. Reportedly, the tour is projected to generate between 1.3 and 1.4 trillion KRW, which is roughly 888 to 957 million USD. Ticket sales alone are estimated at 900 billion KRW or about 615 million USD.
