BTS is cooking up something huge! After spending two months in Los Angeles working on new music, the group has now returned to South Korea, but they may not be there for long. Reports from Star News confirm that RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will soon return to the United States to film a music video and finish recording their highly anticipated comeback album. It has been said that the release is slated for March 2026, though official dates haven’t been announced.
During a livestream, Jungkook revealed that the team had focused on production so far and had not yet recorded vocals. An industry source added that the album’s concept and vibe are already finalized, with recording sessions currently underway. Fans can also expect a music video to be filmed in the US, adding to the hype surrounding this project. Given BTS’ history, there is also a chance of a pre-release single dropping before the official comeback, just to keep ARMY on their tippy toes!
This return marks BTS’ first new song in more than three years, since their 10th anniversary single “Take Two” released in June 2023. If the schedule holds, their new album will launch alongside a potential world tour, the first since their Busan concert in October 2022 and the end of their Permission to Dance on Stage shows earlier that same year. With the countdown on, spring 2026 already feels like the event of next year for the fans.
