During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, BTS teases the release of a possible single or mini album coming soon after their long-awaited comeback with ‘ARIRANG.’
On April 13th, the boy group was announced to be the cover for the magazine’s May edition alongside new photoshoots and interviews like ‘BTS Is Back on Top: ‘We Have to Push It to the Edge’,’ where they opened up about the next steps.
In the interview, Suga revealed that the recording of their new album, ‘ARIRANG,’ was completed in September 2025 and that, due to the time required for post-production and marketing, they didn’t know if the album would be as popular upon release, as they weren’t aware of the next trends.
“See, it was last September when we finished the album at the prerecording stage. But it took all this time for it to be released, so when we made it, we had no idea about the trends in March and April or what kind of genres would be popular. It was tricky to try and make good music.”
The rapper concluded, saying that “for a lot of those reasons maybe we’ll make a single, maybe a mini album, something along those lines,” and this time tried to connect with people through these kinds of trends, demonstrating they made music with different intentions.
On social networks fans cannot hide their excitement for these words with comments like: “BRO THE ALBUM JUST CAME OUT AND THEY MIGHT ALREADY BE WORKING ON SOMETHING ELSE DAMN,” “Idc if it’s a single or a mini lol just give me something to eat,” “Talking about another release not even 1 month after arirang, WE ARE EATING.”
