BTS reunites with fans after a long absence
BTS returned to London on Monday, July 6, 2026, for the first of two concerts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as part of the ARIRANG World Tour. The show marked the boy group’s first concert in the United Kingdom since their previous appearance at Wembley Stadium in 2019. During that seven-year wait, BTS achieved several major milestones, including the success of global hits, Grammy nominations, solo activities, and a temporary hiatus while the members completed South Korea’s mandatory military service and focused on solo projects.
With the seven-member team finally returning to the spotlight, the ARIRANG World Tour now celebrates the release of the group’s latest album, ARIRANG, which arrived in March 2026. Inspired by the famous Korean folk song, the album combines the group’s cultural roots with hip-hop, R&B, dance-pop, and electronic styles, showcasing BTS’ musical diversity.
Secret songs created some of the night’s biggest highlights
One of the most emotional parts of the concert was BTS’ tradition of performing two secret songs that change at every stop of the tour. For the London audience, the first choice was “Life Goes On,” the song released during the COVID-19 pandemic that became the group’s first mostly Korean-language number-one on the Billboard Hot 100. The second surprise song was “Dionysus,” a fan favorite that BTS last performed in London during the 2019 Wembley concerts.
Classic songs and choreography completed the experience
The concert also celebrated BTS’ earlier discography with performances of well-known songs such as “Fake Love,” “Mic Drop,” and “Run BTS.” Although the choreography has been adjusted to specific choruses and sections, the members still delivered synchronized dances that excited the fans throughout the night. Meanwhile, BTS has one more show to go in London, scheduled for July 7, 2026, completing their England run.
