Fans are excited to know that BTS‘ Jungkook would be serving as a cook in the army, polishing his cooking skills while fulfilling his duty as a South Korean citizen with his group mates.
On December, 2023, Jungkook and Jimin enlisted in the South Korean army, saddening all their fans as the two paused their group and individual activities to complete their duty with their country, but they never expected that they would be in a kitchen.
After it was revealed by the relevant authorities that the idol had a good transition to his role in the military when he finished his basic training, some details emerged that indicate the Golden Maknae is currently serving his military duties as a cook.
Jungkook’s current position in the army allows him to work on his culinary abilities, which he used to show his fans before enlisting. He even talked about this in Weverse: “I’m doing well. (…) I’m doing a great job cleaning—up to the ceiling. I’m cooking well too“.
Fans hope he enjoys his stay in the military service and his activities while waiting for his return to the music scene, which is expected to be in 2025.
