During his most recent live stream, BTS‘ Jungkook surprises fans by showing off his huge vitamin bag, generating mixed reactions about this unexpected attention on his health.
On September 1st, the K-Pop idol went live on Weverse to interact with fans and celebrate his birthday, sharing updates about his life during the ‘ARIRANG‘ world tour in the United States. During their talk he recalled he needs to take magnesium, and fans asked him about what vitamins he takes.
Jungkook wonders if he should show them the vitamins he carries, and then he pulls out a huge bag with several pill bottles inside and says, “This is my medication bag. Well, when I say medication bag, it’s actually a vitamin bag. There’s quite a lot of stuff inside…”
The BTS member pulls out another bag, which is for morning vitamins, another one for cold medications, sleeping medication, another one for first aid medications, and some others for his liver: “This was prescribed because my liver values were really high.”
The idol also shows a medication for when he eats flour-based foods that don’t fit his body, a liquid vitamin D, and finally some medication and antibiotic for his skin allergy. He concluded, “And that’s how it is; there’s a ton of vitamins.”
Although on social networks, many fans reacted with concern to the large amount of vitamins that he has; in Korean culture, it is common for young adults to take care of their health with supplements like these, even when it comes to an idol with an exhaustive agenda.
