BTS’s Jungkook just smashed a historic record. His debut solo album “GOLDEN” officially surpassed 6 billion streams on Spotify, making it the first and only album by an Asian solo artist to ever reach that achievement. In addition, it’s also the fastest Asian act to do so.

This elite streaming club only has four Asian albums past the 6B mark, and three of them are BTS group records: Proof, Love Yourself: Answer, and Map of the Soul: 7. Right now, Jungkook’s “GOLDEN” joins this party as the only soloist standing next to his boy group.
The celebration got even better on August 16, 2025, when he appeared with the rest of BTS for a surprise Weverse Live from a Los Angeles beach. RM assured fans they’re all doing well, while Jungkook filmed the chaos with his phone. The group revealed they’re working on their 2026 comeback, creating and recording music that will see the light of day next year.
