Our BTS star, Jimin, proved once again that his heart is as big as his high-pitched vocals! On September 25th, the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education confirmed that the BTS member donated a whopping 100 million KRW (about 75,000 USD) for scholarships in North Jeolla Province. The generous gift was arranged back in July through his father, who coordinated logistics directly with the education office.

This isn’t Jimin’s first time giving back. Since 2019, he has donated the same amount to education offices in Busan, Jeonnam, Gangwon, Chungbuk, and Gyeongnam. That’s six major donations to help elementary through high school students thrive academically or financially. On top of that, he has given to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, earthquake relief efforts in Turkey and Syria, and even funds supporting soldiers in Korea. Talk about using star power for good!

Jimin’s constant generosity has made him a standout philanthropist in K-pop. His track record shows a clear dedication to lifting up youth and communities across Korea (and the globe). On the work front, the BTS members revealed that they’re preparing their next studio album, which could be accompanied by a tour, in the first half of 2026. Meanwhile, fans can celebrate knowing Jimin is all about dominating the stage and helping those in need.
