BTS’ Jimin and V revive Spring Day choreography as debates regarding the group’s world tour choices remain

The moment went viral on April 12, 2026, as fans praised the interaction and continued discussing the group’s reduced choreography on tour

The concert moment draws immediate attention

During the final Seoul stop of BTS’ ARIRANG World Tour on April 12, 2026, Jimin and V (also known as Taehyung) shared a moment that quickly caught fans’ attention online. It happened during the “Bangtan Karaoke” segment, a part of the concert in which BTS revisits songs that were not included in the main setlist. Instead of having a planned routine for that segment, the members sing and move more freely, relying on memory and enjoying the songs in a spontaneous way.

Then, Spring Day, a song from BTS’ 2017 album You Never Walk Alone, started playing. Quickly, Jimin ran toward V and handed him his microphone before beginning part of his solo choreography. Fans soon noticed that he had changed the usual formation and recreated a version of the choreography that reminded many of an earlier 2017 performance. After completing the steps, Jimin stopped in front of V and laughed, giving the moment a natural and genuine touch. In addition, V and the other members smiled right away before Jimin and V continued with the performance.

The clip comes amid a larger discussion regarding BTS’ tour choices

The short video spread quickly across social media, with many fans calling it nostalgic and meaningful. However, the reaction was shaped by a larger conversation over BTS’ concert choices since the global run opened on April 9. Some fans have criticized the lighter choreography used in several older songs, while newer songs from ARIRANG include more planned routines. The debate grew after Bang Si-hyuk said in a recent Billboard interview that he wanted BTs to focus more on stage presence and live delivery. Following the April 12 concert, the debate around the choreography resurfaced online, with some fans advocating for the return of dance-focused segments for the older songs.
