It is finally happening! The KPop drought that felt eternal is ending because BTS officially confirmed their comeback for March 20, 2026. BigHit Entertaiment dropped the news on January 1, 2026, making ARMY’s New Year feel like the perfect new beginning. After almost four years away as a full group, RM, Jin, Suga, J Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are gearing up to bring new music, expected to come with a full-length album and a world tour.
Fans have been waiting, enduring long days while the BTS members wrapped up their military services. For most of 2023 to 2025, most of their focus was on solo projects, including albums, EPs, and singles. However, hints of their group reunion started popping up when RM teased the comeback back in November on Weverse, saying the music is coming out really well, and Jungkook added more excitement through Elle Korea, saying this spring will be important.
By June 2025, most of the squad was discharged and reunited, and shortly after, they confirmed that a new album and a tour were in the works. They immediately hit the studio and started preparing for their long-anticipated return.
“We’ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year … We’re also planning a world tour alongside the new album. We’ll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you’re as excited as we are.”
So get your lightsticks ready, because March 20, 2026, is shaping up to be epic.
