ARMYs, get in line, BTS is officially making a comeback. After wrapping up their military service, RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook came together for a livestream on July 1, marking their first group appearance in three years. And they didn’t come empty-handed! The group confirmed that their next studio album will drop in Spring 2026, with plans to begin production soon, starting in the USA.

During the stream, V casually spilled that the group is prepping new music while traveling abroad, with the United States being one of their main stops. RM confirmed it, adding that while Jin tours the world solo, the rest of the group will hit studios internationally. Though the exact release date wasn’t revealed, fans are expecting the album to land around March 2026, matching earlier reports that the group would be releasing music around those dates.

This will be BTS’s first full studio album since BE in 2020, although they did release the anthology Proof in 2022 to celebrate their 10th anniversary; it wasn’t actually a full studio album. After years apart due to their military service, it’s clear there’s plenty more military magic. And now? The comeback countdown begins!
