BTS had the energy through the roof in California with three sold-out concerts at Stanford Stadium on May 16, 17, and 19, 2026. Around 152,000 fans attended the shows as part of the boy group’s “ARIRANG” world tour. The tickets sold out immediately after release, leading to the addition of a third concert on May 19, which sold out very quickly, too. The shows displayed BTS’s strong global popularity and loyal fanbase. Stanford Stadium, which opened in 1921, has rarely hosted concerts, with BTS becoming only the second artist to perform there after Coldplay.

One of the biggest highlights happened at the final concert on May 19, 2026. During the performance of “Body to Body,” a song from the ARIRANG album, fans prepared a surprise gesture for the members. As the traditional Korean folk song that “Body to Body” incorporates began to play, thousands of fans lifted Korean flags inside the stadium and sang along in Korean. The emotional moment quickly became one of the most talked-about scenes from the show in that venue. The members appeared deeply touched by the fan project. Near the end of the show, they thanked the audience and said they were experiencing some of the best moments of their lives. They also shared how moved they felt by the effort fans made to organize the surprise event together.
