BTS chooses “Normal” as the next radio single from their chart-topping ARIRANG album

The group's latest promotion follows the massive success of the hit "SWIM"

“Normal” is the next chapter for ARIRANG

BTS is keeping the momentum going for the ARIRANG era. After dominating the charts with the single “SWIM,” the 7-member team has officially selected “Normal” as the album’s next radio single. Interscope and Capitol Records will begin promoting the track to pop radio during the week of July 27, making it the second official single from the boy group’s latest full-lengthalbum. “Normal” is the ninth track on ARIRANG, which entered at the top of the Billboard 200 in April 2026.

“SWIM” turned into a massive hit for BTS

The next single decision follows the huge success of “SWIM,” which achieved the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, accompanied by ARIRANG’s chart-topping debut on the album chart. The achievement gave BTS their seventh #1 album and seventh #1 single in the United States. In addition, “SWIM” also performed strongly in other global charts, including #2 in the UK and #3 in Japan. To kick off promotions for the upcoming single, Interscope has now unveiled the NORMAL Single CDs available for pre-order in two versions. See them below:

BTS continues its record-breaking era

The promotion of “Normal” comes as BTS continues their hugely successful ARIRANG World Tour. According to Billboard Boxscore, the boy band earned $127.8 million and sold more than 641,000 tickets across 12 shows in May alone, once again becoming the highest-grossing touring act. BTS is also preparing for a historic performance on July 19, when the members will headline the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show at MetLife Stadium alongside Justin Bieber, Madonna, and Shakira.
