BTS just proved their sparkle is still shining as bright as ever! On September 2024, YouTube confirmed that “Dynamite” had smashed the 2-billion-views mark, making it the group’s very first video to hit that milestone. Originally released on August 20, 2020, the disco-pop anthem became a worldwide sensation and even landed BTS their first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The colorful, choreography-packed video became a pandemic-era bop for fans, bringing an uplifting vibe to uncertain times. “Dynamite” later snagged a Grammy nomination in 2021 and went five-times Platinum in May 2024. Talk about becoming a new classic! But “Dynamite is not alone,” especially because BTS now has 8 videos with over a billion views, including “Boy With Luv,” “DNA,” and “MIC Drop.”
And the best part? All seven members are finally back from military service and are up for their next chapter. During August 2025, the group revealed they’re preparing for their comeback album in spring 2026, which will reportedly be supported by a world tour. So while we wait for their comeback, let’s just blast “Dynamite” like it’s 2020 again!
