The 34th Seoul Music Awards, held on June 21, 2025, recognized names like i-dle, BLACKPINK’s Rosé, aespa, and more. Particularly, the BLACKPINK member received the World Best Artist award and proved yet again why she shines as one of the biggest names in the music industry. Sharing the honor with aespa, Rosé’s win underscored her global impact and cemented her place as a powerhouse soloist.

The ceremony was packed with deserved wins,  including i-dle taking the Daesang (Grand Prize). The victory marked the first time in 14 years that a girl group has claimed the top honor, a feat last achieved by Girls’ Generation in 2010. The night also celebrated RM from BTS for Best R&B/Hip Hop Artist and Jimin for receiving the Hallyu Special Award. Meanwhile, TXT kept their momentum strong by securing Best Album, Best Song, and a Bonsang, highlighting their growing dominance in the scene.
