BLACKPINK’s Rosé just did what no other K-pop artist has ever done! On July 29, Billboard announced that “APT,” her hit collab with Bruno Mars, climbed to No. 35 in its 40th straight week on the Hot 100. That makes it the first K-pop song ever to stick around that long on the chart, proving it is already a timeless bop.
But that’s not all. “APT.” is also holding strong on Billboard’s global charts. It sits at No. 7 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, No. 9 on the Global 200, and No. 33 on the Radio Songs chart. Despite newer songs taking the top spots, the world isn’t done vibing with the Rosé x Bruno Mars dynamic duo. Interestingly, Rosé also joined Olivia Rodrigo, who identifies as Filipino American, making them the only Asian women sharing the record:
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s latest digital single “JUMP” is climbing too. It held its ground for a second week on the Hot 100 at No. 53, while landing No. 2 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, No. 3 on the Global 200, No. 33 on Pop Airplay, and No. 42 on the Streaming Songs chart. The quartet is currently touring the world with the DEADLINE World Tour.
