BLACKPINK’s Rosé became one of the most popular Kpop idols worldwide after she released her smash song, “APT,” along with Bruno Mars. Since then, the idol embarked on a fabulous journey, which made her earn great recognition.

On October 23, Rosé received the Presidential Citation at the 16th Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards, held at the Haerum Theater of the National Theater of Korea. She will be recognized for her contributions to the development of popular culture.

Rosé’s massive success with APT made her set records as the highest-ranking and longest-charting K-pop female artist in different countries, including The Billboard Hot 100 and 200. She is also hugely recognized for her musical talent by participating in the writing process and composition of every track of her debut album, “ROSIE.”
