During a recent interview, BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo shocks by confessing that she looks to Taylor Swift and Britney Spears for inspiration, generating enthusiasm among fans of these music industry icons.
In conversations with Vanity Fair for a new video on their YouTube channel, the singer talked about her dream role, her upcoming music release, her bond with and even her inspirations to create all her music videos.
She remembers that despite working on music, she also has to work on music videos for their songs, so she looks for videos to match the lyrics: “so I watch a lot of movies and other music videos to find references”.
“When I have to film a music video, there’s a few music videos I watch. Among them are Britney Spears and Taylor Swift. I’ll usually watch their videos. I really like them personally, so I’ll watch them and think, I really want to capture this vibe, and get ideas like that from there”.
