A star-packed lineup takes over Taipei
On November 27, 2025, LL Joongang confirmed that BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Stray Kids will hit the 40th Golden Disc Awards stage, cranking the hype up another level. The K-pop diva and the boy group will share the event with names like MONSTA X, BOYNEXTDOOR, ATEEZ, ARK, Close Your Eyes, Kiki, and TWS. The first batch of performers included IVE, LE SSERAFIM, ENHYPEN, ZEROBASEONE, IZNA, and more, making a total of 18 confirmed acts. This stacked lineup will turn the Taipei Dome into a K-pop party on January 10, 2026.
Comebacks, first times, and record breakers
Stray Kids are making their GDA stage comeback after two years and will perform for the very first time in Taipei. Their return comes hot on the heels of their record-breaking streak of seven consecutive No.1 Billboard 200 debuts, with their mini-album DO IT already predicted to be an eighth. With this, Stray Kids beats other groups for the most No.1 projects on the chart, surpassing BTS and Linkin Park.
Meanwhile. Jennie is making waves with her first solo GDA appearance in seven years. She walks into the event following the success of her solo album Ruby, and her hit Like Jennie, which landed nominations in both physical and digital categories. Her album has often been regarded as a standout K-pop album in 2025 and the most solid solo project among the BLACKPINK members.
