BLACKPINK returned to the spotlight on July 5, 2025, with the opening night of their DEADLINE Tour at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, and it was a dazzling return! This was their first full concert together since September 17, 2023, and fans came ready to scream, cry, and sing along. With a fierce choreography, spicy solo stages, and incredible visual effects, they reminded fans why they’re one of the fiercest groups in K-pop.
Prior to this reunion, the group members had been going their own sweet ways with different solo projects. Lisa focused on her album “Alter Ego” and made waves in The White Lotus. Jennie was busy with fashion endeavors and her solo album “Ruby.” Rosé focused on music and released her album “Rosie,” which contained the viral hit “APT” alongside Bruno Mars. Finally, Jisoo made waves in K-dramas and films, while also delivering dance bops in her “AMORTAGE” mini-album.
Going into the tour, BLACKPINK and their agency, YG Entertainment, confirmed the quartet would premiere their first song since 2023’s “The Girls.” The track is titled “JUMP” and had its debut performance during the July 5 Goyang Stadium show, making it a sweet surprise for fans. With major cities like Milan, New York, and Tokyo next on the tour list, this is just the beginning.
