Billie Eilish is set to perform from Los Angeles as one of the three performers for the event. Snoop Dogg and Red Hot Chili Peppers will also join the singer in pre-recorded and live performances.

Unfortunately, this news comes with the reveal of a planned terrorist attack at Taylor Swift‘s concert in Austria, Vienna. Therefore, the City of Angels will have security accounting for possible threats coming from land, sea, and air at the event.

However, the show will go as planned with Los Angeles Mayor, Karen Bass, accepting the Olympic Torch. The City of Angels will be hosting the Olympic Games from July 14 to July 20, 2028, with the closing ceremony giving a hint at what the city will offer.
