BABYMONSTER unveils a new group teaser for “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA”

BABYMONSTER has released a new group teaser photo for their upcoming digital single, “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA.” The official image was revealed after a series of individual concept photos and gives fans a closer peek into the girl group’s concept for the release. In the teaser, the members wear matching pastel-themed and light-colored outfits that combine sweet and elegant styles. The photo also gives fans a look into BABYMONSTER’s more charming and girl-next-door vibe.

The release has an interesting background. “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA” was originally planned as the title track for BABYMONSTER’s third mini-album, “CHOOM.” However, executive producer Yang Hyun Suk decided to change those plans. According to him, releasing both major songs at the same time would reduce the impact of each track. Instead, he chose to give “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA” its own time in the limelight as a separate digital single.

The upcoming single is scheduled for release on June 8, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. KST. BABYMONSTER fans (also known as MONSTIEZ) are more than ready to hear how the track fits into the septet’s discography.  The group has continued to attract attention with each comeback, and this latest concept suggests another bright and energetic era. “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA” is already shaping up to be one of the group’s most talked-about summer releases.
