A few hours ago, aespa’s Ningning went live to share with fans a message of love after her weight controversy that earned her negative comments from fans and netizens.
On February 27th, the K-Pop idol went live through her Instagram account, where she was asked for her weight; in response, she seemed to joke about having 55 kg, which earned her accusations of making fun of people with this weight.
Now, Ningning went live again to talk to her followers but also speak out about her recent scandal, explaining her intentions and sharing a message of love for all fans, reminding them to love their bodies.
“I don’t know why, all of a sudden, people are taking what I said in such a negative way. I talked about weight last time, right? What I said at the very end was that regardless of weight, I hope everyone stays healthy, eats well, and lives well.”
“Being skinny isn’t what matters most. As long as you take care of your health, that’s what’s important. That was the point. But people kind of twisted it and made it into something negative, turning it into something really bad. “
The Aespa member emphasized those who twisted her words and ignored the good message she gave but also told fans to enjoy their life as they want and happily: “I just want people to live positively, and I’m trying to do that too.”
