aespa isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Fresh off wrapping their second world tour “SYNK: PARALLEL LINE,” which spanned Asia, North America, and Europe, the group launched their third tour, “SYNK: AEXIS LINE,” at Seoul’s KSPO Dome. Now, they’re heading into arena territory, with shows lined up in Japan and Thailand starting October 4 in Fukuoka.
This tour comes as the quartet is going through musical changes. Their single “Dirty Work” dropped June 27th, 2025, racking up 1 million pre-orders. Then, their recent title track, “Rich Man,” showcased a darker and rock-infused vibe. But despite the experimentation, reviews of these songs have been mixed. While some fans praised the bold switch-up, others felt the songs lacked aespa’s trademark punch. Then, their recent performance on “Good Morning America” added to the criticism with lip-sync and lazy stage presence accusations.
Still, it looks like the group will continue favoring global momentum, especially with 15 arena dates planned and no K-pop award shows on their list this year. And while their sound has changed and expanded, it’s clear they’re prioritizing seeing their fans and performing on stage. Whether critics love it or not, aespa is proving they’re committed to leveling up and staying bold.
