Their latest hit, “Supernova,” has shattered records, becoming the longest-charting No. 1 song on MelOn, South Korea’s biggest streaming app. As of September 2, “Supernova” has held the top spot for a jaw-dropping 15 consecutive weeks, overtaking NewJeans‘ “Ditto,” which held the previous record at 14 weeks.

But aespa’s success does not stop on the MelOn charts! “Supernova” has also dominated Genie‘s charts, staying at No. 1 for three straight months. The track has proven to be one of aespa’s essential songs, and most importantly one of the biggest K-pop hits this year.
